We are firmly ensconced at Thorneside. It is a Mobile Home Park but there are very few choices of Caravan Parks in Brisbane & it is only 5 minutes from the kids place.
I found another photo of Ulrika driving with caravan attached 🙂
One of the reasons we are back in Brisbane for a while is to give Tris & Caitlin a hand with the kids. Ricky has a form of epilepsy & is requiring some additional attention as it is brought under control. He is such a cutie.
We have been spending time with Hayden.
Sleepover in his special caravan bed.
We went to the Ekka on the train. He was not keen on the haunted castle. On the plus side he has been introduced to a Dagwood Dog.
The little steam trains at Wynnum were a hit. Nanna was in charge of Ricky.
At Capalaba Produce on his favourite tractor & the animals.
Hayden dressed up for a “Fiver for a Farmer” at Kindy & then as a pirate for Book Day.
Nana caught leading him astray at the park.
Doing lots of bike rides together.
Had a great day at Qld Railway Museum at Ipswich. Hayden loves the trains (so does his Poppy).
Still doing the tourist thing as well. This is the old Lighthouse at Cleveland Point. It was built in 1865 & closed in 1975. It is the only timber clad lighthouse in QLD.
Our wonderful Fur Baby Billy turned 16 (112 in human years) this week. He has been a great companion & friend over the years. He has enjoyed living in the caravan on our travels & we look forward to making him happy in his old age.
Quote of the Day
“One of the hardest things you will ever have to do is to grieve the loss of a person who is still alive”
