Day 404 – 413 19/6 – 28/6 Normanville

A couple of bogans just hanging.

Beautiful Crimson Rosella sitting on Lavender in back yard.

The Smiling Samoyed Brewery at Myponga. We even got to meet the smiling Samoyed. Her name is Hoppy. The Kolsch Golden Ale is the pick.

Another entertaining afternoon at the Tramway Museum at St Kilda. It is north of Adelaide. Have I mentioned that the road system in Adelaide is crap. It takes forever to get anywhere.

These are horse-drawn trams. The one on the left has not been restored. It spent 60 years in a front yard as a decoration.

And then there are the trolley buses. They used overhead wires but were not on rails like a tram.

Adelaide Trams in the Museum.

Other trams from other areas.

Some of the inside of the trams have been restored really well.

You even get to go on a ride alongside a pinkish salt lake.

We had a hit at Wirrina Cove. It is on the road to Cape Jervis. The resort was built-in the 80’s & has gone broke & been sold something like 8 times since. It was a like a ghost town. Has the feel & look of Kooralbyn about it. Bent greens with lots of couch through them. Only thing it has going for it is the marina (& it only cost $50 for two with cart).

Quote of the Day

“There’s a natural law of karma that vindictive people, who go out of their way to hurt others, will end up broke and alone.”

Sylvester Stallone
