When we got to Cloncurry we did not know what to expect, only booked in for two nights. Spent the first arvo looking around, found Chinamans Creek Dam which is bit of an oasis in the middle of a very dry area. Then found out the rodeo was in town so decided to stay an extra night & catch up with Kim Wratten & Gwen.
The rodeo is called the Curry Merry Muster & on the first night they had the Xtreme Bull Riding @ the Showgrounds in the middle of town.
I was fortunate enough to get a video of the winning ride. Lots of people in town for the night & good fun. Ulrika especially liked the cowboys.
The next night the rodeo proper started & we got our country on with the locals.
