Left Brisbane this morning & we are heading to Columboola which is 15 minutes out of Miles. As always the traffic was crap getting out of Brisbane. Being OCD Ulrika freaks out at the shape of the power poles between Toowoomba & Dalby. It has to be 90 degree angles or nothing.

Columboola Country Caravan Park is a 200 acre property that is a bush camp with power & facilities. It is 15km down a dirt road. Pretty dusty as they have not had rain for a while. We find a place by the creek which has a great view.
Bit chilly the first morning (gets down to -1) but it warms up quick.
Go into Miles & visit information centre which is also a historical town & museum. Spent a couple of hours wandering around looking at old stuff.
Creek was dry in places but we went for a walk to try & find a cave that has bats. Found the cave but no bats.
We did find Ulrikas favourite abode sitting in the middle of nowhere
